As a former officer of the courts and probation departments in multiple cities, I have gained valuable insight and experience on the issues that lead so many people to feeling hopeless and lost. Many of the reasons they ended up in court, jail or on probation were not criminal. I began to realize people needed help, guidance, resources or just someone to listen and give them a chance to release what was built up inside. After years of not being able to help from my position, I decided to put myself in a better position.
